  • Alice Stern

I am a certified ADHD coach with personal experience managing anxiety and increasing self-awareness for the underlying causes of this. My holistic coaching style is step-by-step, guided by the executive functioning framework, making small changes with big impacts.

I have researched and written about the importance of understanding ADHDers as individuals, and the need to focus on positivity and resilience within this as part of my MSc in Child Development.

A mother of two young children, my oldest was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age one. I bring empathy, flexibility, and an optimistic approach to my practice.

  • Allison Dolnik

    Hello fellow ADHDers!

I was diagnosed "later in life" with ADHD after becoming a mother in 2018.  My world felt unmanageable and I was left feeling overwhelmed and alone.  After my diagnosis, I was left wondering what ADHD meant for me.  I accessed coaching in 2020 and it was a gamechanger.  It helped start me on a journey to self-compassion over self-doubt and ignited my desire to help others achieve peace and balance.

As an ADHD Works Certified Coach and Clinical Social Worker, I take a integrative approach in working with clients.  This includes utilising the ADHD Works Executive Functioning Framework alongside solution-focused and strength-based practice, looking at systems and support, as well as CBT-informed principles to target negative thought patterns and self-criticism.

  • Caitlin Whitmore

Hi, I'm Caitlin, an ADHD Coach helping others to work with their ADHD and improve both their personal and professional lives.

As a late-diagnosed ADHDer myself (diagnosed at 26) I understand the difficulties in not only obtaining a diagnosis, but also the confusion and acceptance after receiving it, and then the ongoing day-to-day struggles that occur.

My psychological background (BSc Psychology/MSc Psychological Research) combined with my ADHD Works' training allows me to understand the role of executive function in ADHD, and apply psychological frameworks to effectively support my clients.

I am currently conducting academic research into Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) with the aim of increasing understanding and awareness of this aspect of ADHD. RSD is a huge challenge for many people with ADHD, and I support my clients with recognising and managing RSD in their lives.

My coaching style is focused on creating a safe space for clients to explore their personal challenges and find strategies which work for them. Each client is unique and the coaching sessions are fully tailored to support your personal needs and goals.

  • Emma Ward

Hi I’m Emma, it’s great to be here as an ADHD Coach.

I was diagnosed just two years ago, age 46.

I bring with me 48 years of knowledge and experience. A childhood that revolved around trying to fit in and keep everyone happy, whilst being bullied, and truant from school.

Adulthood; postnatal depression, divorce, bereavements, surgery induced menopause at 40 and discrimination at work. BUT there have been great achievements too. Awards, promotions, bonuses, and my 19 year old son I’m very proud of!

I am not perfect, but I can offer you care, empathy and a safe place to be you.

I look forward to hearing from you.

  • Fran Droege

I've worked in marketing for 15 years, where many of my highly creative colleagues and peers have ADHD and understandably struggled with their executive functioning skills (things such as setting deadlines and meeting them, routines, clear communication, sticking to structure, asking for help and more!) . This industry in particular relies on and judges individuals on all of these skills, without the compassion and understanding that people with ADHD may find it incredibly hard to balance and manage all of these demands.

I truly want to help and guide people working in this industry to challenge their amazing minds to work for them and not against them.

In my personal life, I have experience with ADHD due to family members and friends being diagnosed with it and have informally coached them along the way.

My aim is to make you feel heard and seen in order to help you understand that you have even more potential.

Hi! I am Cameron (he/him) an ADHD coach based in Amsterdam.

Like many people, I was late diagnosed with ADHD in my mid-30’s following a burnout, so I know how it feels to go through life questioning why you’re not reaching your potential, why you struggle with consistency and why certain emotions may feel so sensitive.

For over a decade, I worked in HR within the trading industry, where I supported some of the world’s smartest traders, researchers and software developers through their careers. Feeling a bit lost and unsupported at the time of my diagnosis, I took this passion and experience for supporting high-performers reach their potential and applied it to ADHD Coaching. I believe all of us have huge amounts of brilliant, creative and fascinating potential and are capable of leading ourselves towards it.

I bring a warm and empathetic approach to my coaching, but am pleased to have inherited some of the “Dutch directness” which means that I won’t shy away from asking the challenging or uncomfortable questions to help you reach your potential and create a life that works for you and your ADHD.

Since my diagnosis I have discovered that my whole family are neurodivergent including my 11-year-old daughter- as you can imagine the family get togethers and events are colourful and fun!

I have worked within a specialist NHS ADHD Service for over three years and have been actively working within the team to raise awareness around ADHD and offer non-pharmacological options and proving there is life after an ADHD Diagnosis.

My passion to help others and support those with ADHD has been a huge drive for me this year and this is the reason I completed by ADHD Coaching course as I am keen to continue my learning and completing my own path whilst helping others.

I’m here to support you on your own journey incorporating my own lived experience and training I would love to be able to work with you along the way no matter where you are with your journey.

After a 20+ year tech career, including roles as Founder, Managing Director, General Manager, and Head of Product, Gary decided to leave it behind to follow a career something closer to his true strengths and values, discovered through ADHD coaching.

Diagnosed with ADHD in 2014, he initially improved with medication for a couple of years but was left stuck and burned out. He reached a stage of denial and tried to outsmart ADHD, for years. Predictably, that strategy didn't work.

Taking a new approach, including coaching transformed his understanding of ADHD and himself. He now helps similarly "stuck" ADHD individuals, especially adults, managers, business leaders, and entrepreneurs, through ADHD coaching.

He also offers ADHD Business Training and ADHD Business Consulting to help project delivery teams and leadership support and understand ADHD in the workplace.

Having a long career in the tech sector, Gary feels ADHD individuals are often the innovators and amongst the most genuine and creative people on your teams, but they need a little support in return for all they can give back.

  • Jeni Dobson

I’m Jen and I became an ADHD coach to help all ADHDers, but in particular parents, especially Mum’s who have ADHD.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in my early 30’s after the Jenga Tower that was my life came tumbling down when I added one more ‘block’ - motherhood. Parenthood is, as we’re always told, THE hardest job in the world but when a parent (or both) has ADHD it’s like you get put in a bubble of treacle too!.

I spent my 20’s in Veterinary Practice as a Nurse and then after burning out, retrained as a Complementary Therapist. I truly believe that a holistic approach to wellbeing is paramount to a happy, balanced life – hence adding coaching to my skill set. I currently work from my home in West Yorkshire which I share with my husband, 2 kids, 2 dogs, 4 chickens, 1 snake and our elderly cat who definitely rules the roost! I love reading, binge watching tv series and occasionally going for a run with our Border Collie. I don’t like cleaning, supermarkets or flimsy carrier bags!

Her husband's own ADHD diagnosis and her daughter's suspected ADHD have given Nicola experience of managing her own symptoms in an often chaotic household. She understands the various challenges that women in this position face and creates a compassionate and judgement-free space for them to explore their minds so that they can move forward with self-compassion and understanding.

  • Sonay Erten

Sonay is a late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD lawyer. She has experienced the benefits of ADHD coaching first hand and decided to become a coach out of a desire to help others in the same way.

She has been a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and support in the legal profession since she started out in the profession and continues to advocate for these issues in wider society. Following her diagnoses of ADHD and autism and receiving coaching, she now understands that her lack of diagnosis (and understanding how her brain works), was strongly connected to her mental health struggles, and she’s on a mission to ensure no one experiences what she has experienced.

Sonay is keen for society to be accepting of all and openly writes and talks about her experiences of anxiety, depression, burnout and imposter syndrome, as well as having done a Tedx talk.

The ADHD Works Executive Functioning Coaching Method™️ is:

  • Based on executive functioning skills

We've developed a framework that specifically addresses executive functioning skills delayed by 30% - like self-awareness and emotional regulation.

We'll also provide you with handy exercises and strategies that’ll make these skills feel like second nature.

  • Centred around you

Everyone has different goals. That's why our coaching approach is tailored to your specific needs.

One of the tools we’ll teach you is how to “name it to tame it.” For instance, by recognising how Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria crops up in your life, we can develop strategies to help you overcome its challenges.

  • Inclusive and judgement-free

When it comes to coaching, it's not just about receiving advice or following a set of instructions. It's about connecting with someone who gets you and your unique experiences.

That's why our coaches have lived experience with ADHD. They understand what you're going through - and they can offer insights and support.

ADHD Works’ Coaching: FAQs

What is the ADHD Works’ Coaching method?

The ADHD Works Executive Functioning Coaching Method™️ is a neuroscience-based framework. It’s designed to strengthen executive functioning skills delayed by 30%. We have weekly coaching sessions, and you’ll be provided with handy exercises (for you to complete at your own pace).

What if I have issues with my ADHD Coach?

We have oversight of each of our coaches at ADHD Works. If you encounter any issues, please reach out to us directly at hello@adhdworks.info - we'll be happy to help.

Are you accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF)?

No. We believe that traditional coaching standards don’t always work for neurodivergent individuals. So, our coaching approach is tailored with an ADHD-lens - focusing on each individual’s goals.

Unlike many ICF-accredited coaching companies, we don’t expect you to set the agenda. Plus, our coaches can use their lived experience to understand what you're going through.

How up-to-date is this list?

Each coach has completed their certification within the past year. We update this list after each certification, to ensure ongoing learning and skill development.
